5 out of 5 stars Good quality, fast delivery   June 28, 2010

I like all products of La roche, and this one is very good for my skin. I was looking for sunscreen with not only UVB (like most sunscreens) but also UVA protection. In addition, this cream doesn't contain oxibenzone I have an allergy to.

The product was precribed by a doctor. This is the first time it has been used and the results are excellent. Recommended.

4 out of 5 stars Good But...   August 21, 2008

My dermatologist recommended this sunblock and I just recently started using it. I work outside and it seems to to work well but the only thing I don't like is the fact it makes you look pale and sickly. I work alone and wear a big hat so it's not really a factor if I'm working but I will not use it if I'm going to be around people, I liken it to mime paint. I hadn't mentioned to my wife that I purchased and started using it and she saw me with it on and thought I was very ill. Matter of fact she kept it to herself because she didn't want to scare me. I was thinking maybe I could mix some tan make up with it but that just sounds like way to much trouble. I'm sure this is great stuff but I probably will not buy it again because I can only use it when I'm flying solo.

4 out of 5 stars Good sunscreen, a little whitish, hate the packaging.   May 8, 2009

This is a very thick cream. The titanium dioxide definitely adds a white cast. I use just a little over the LRP SPF 15. It cuts the greasiness of the SP5 15 a bit. I also use this on my hands every day.

I always wind up cutting the end off the tube to scrape several weeks worth of product out when it will no longer squeeze out. This annoys me.

If you are worried about whether a product is "noncomedogenic," please look up the actual facts. There are no FDA regulations for the term and also none for the claims that cosmetics companies make using the term.

4 out of 5 stars Good coverage, doesn't absorb well   July 5, 2009

I really liked the coverage of this product, but it doesn't absorb very well at all, so you kind of get that white, vampire-face look. Overall not bad though.
