This is hands down the most FANTASTIC foundation EVER. And this is coming from someone who has tried just about every foundation out there. I have OFF THE CHARTS oily skin but when I wear this foundation my face NEVER looks oily; just dewy and soft.
I must say, I wasn't in the market for a new foundation. I was quite happy with the one I was using. But when i heard that this came in one color I had to see for myself. I am a fair skinned African American woman; Honey beige types are usually my color. This foundation is PERFECT. It's luminous and leaves me with a "fresh" look that I haven't had in...years. I don't know how they did it but they did. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

You will LOVE this foundation if: (1) you have light/medium to medium skin in a warm tone, (2) your skin is pretty pretty good, though not necessarily perfect, and (3) you don't mind the tumeric smell for the first five minutes after applying the foundation. I am an Asian in my late 30's with light warm-toned skin, some freckle-like sun spots, and some scarring from adult acne. I don't like looking made up, but hesitate to leave the house without some sort of foundation and sun screen. I have been looking for something that evens out my skin tone and still looks natural. Perricone's No Foundation Foundation is perfect for me.
First, this foundation is supposed to work for all skin tones, but I think it would be best suited for those with warm skin tone in the light/medium to medium range. The Perricone website indicates that you should apply one pump (about a small pea size) and blend, blend, blend. This is supposed to enable the product to match any skin tone. I don't doubt that it does, but the increased blending thins out the product on your face, which affects how well it covers blemishes and scars. This won't be a problem if you have perfect skin. However, if you don't blend the product this way and your skin tone is light and cool, it will look orange on you. If your skin tone is dark, the product will look too light. If your skin tone is in the light/medium-medium warm range, you could use more of the product and blend less, and it will still look natural and provide more coverage.
Second, the coverage is translucent, not opaque, so you will need a concealer if you want extra coverage. I read some negative reviews of this product on other sites because people wanted better coverage than what the product promised. It is possible to get more coverage if you layer the product on but, as noted above, your skin tone should be in the light/medium range if you intend to do this because of the color of the tint. I use about a pump and a half on my face (for more coverage) and then follow with the "My Spots are Consealed" cover stick, which matches wonderfully. The combo makes me look like I have naturally perfect skin. A little mineral makeup also works well for increasing coverage of scars, but you wind up with a slight powdery (and less natural and dewey) look.
Third, other reviewers have described the smell as "fishy." I think it smells more like tumeric, the spice found in Indian curries. Either way, it is noticeable when you first put it on, but the smell dissipates after a few minutes. I've also asked my husband to smell me a few minutes after application, and he could not smell the foundation at all. It is a little surprising at first, but it goes away quickly. Also, the benefits of this product far outweigh the problem with the smell.
Overall, I think this is a great product. It replaces several other products and is a great all-in-one. I would highly recommend this product with the caveats above.

This foundation is amazing. At first, it looks very shiny when applied but after about 2 minutes i use Laura Mercier translucent powder over this. The finish is flawless and i have very oily skin but my makeup looks and feels fresh all day long. No touchups!!!!!! The foundation goes on really easily and it feels good on the skin. I have good clear skin and this emphasizes this. However, I feel if you have marks and blemishes you would need to use a concealer with this as you would with any other foundation. I am definately hooked on this and what a bonus, good ingredients for my skin and SPF. This is a keeper. Try it ....... you won't regret it.

I've tried so many sunscreens over the years, and loathed them all, so how nice it was to find one, with an SPF of 30 no less, that I could wear every day, and in fact want to wear every day, and that also acts as a foundation. No Foundation Foundation isn't chalky or sticky, it has a pleasant aroma, a nice velvety texture, and it makes my skin look dewey and smooth (and perhaps most importantly - no breakouts). I don't use any other Perricone products, but this one is top-notch, and though I'm only on my first bottle, I'm already worried they'll stop making it! P.S. I'm a total beauty product fanatic, and I mix and match across various lines, including Ren, YonKa, Proactive, Kiehl's, etc. - my main criteria for products? They have to work!

Ok. This is the first time I have ever written a review on Amazon despite the fact that I order from Amazon all the time. I am currently in Iraq and I actually broke my compact that I use all the time. It is very light and has SPF 25 so I always used it. But because I cannot order it from here, I had to get something that will do until I am able to have someone get it for me. I saw this ad in one of the magazine so I said, why not? OMG. AMAZING and I AM NOT LYING. I too have an oily face and this has to be the first product that I have ever used that actually did everything I wanted! Face looks fresh even after sweating, flawless coverage without any division lines between your face and neck, and very light...plus it's SPF 30!!!!!!!! I got it yesterday, used it today, and I loved it so much that I had to write a review!!!! Try it, you will love it!!!!!!!
